Born in 1995 in France, William Wheeler graduated in Engineering from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne in 2018. His experimental project on the topic of electric vehicles was a stepping stone to begin a Ph.D. thesis in the field of electric vehicles batteries. He obtained his doctorate at the University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 in Ampère and LEPMI laboratories. Now, his research focuses on lithium-ion batteries aging and reuse in second life applications at EIGSI Lab (EIGSI La Rochelle) as associate professor.
